Hi, I’m Billy Moyer.

I’m an author, speaker, and leadership and organizational development expert.

When I was only four years old, I went through my first goal setting program. It was in that program that I set my first goal: become a speaker just like my dad, Bill Moyer. By age seven, I spoke at my first event and haven’t stopped speaking yet.

I’ve spoken over Billy Moyer headshot1200 times in my 24-year speaking career to businesses, universities, and corporations about leadership, organizational effectiveness, goal setting, and personal responsibility.

I am the Co-founder & President of SOS Leadership Institute, an international leadership development resource center that seeks to develop leaders who make a difference. I co-founded SOS Leadership at just 21-years-old. Since, SOS Leadership has worked with thousands of leaders helping them get the most out of themselves and those they lead in order to improve performance and results.

I have co-authored four books, Seeds of Success: A Journey from Success to Significance, Retreat to Success: Living Your Life on “Purpose”, The Turnaround: If You Don’t Grow, You Go!, and my latest book called Beware of Alligators and Ugly Stuff.

I’m passionate about teaching leaders how to be the boss of their life through personal responsibility and clear goal setting. You may have a boss, but you should always be the BOSS of your own life. I also enjoy helping organizations improve their results and work through difficult transitions.

Through my work at SOS Leadership, I have served as the interim COO or CEO of multiple companies in transition. I also developed our Chief People Officer program which allows me and my team to serve as the CPO for companies who want to build a Development Culture that focuses on the growth of all employees.

On my blog and through my speaking, I share with you personal strategies for taking charge and being the boss of your life as well as strategies for business success.

I currently live in Austin, Texas with my wife, Ashley.
